Kohima, July 27 (MExN): As on March 31, a total of 2,06,761 eligible farmers have benefitted under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana in Nagaland, the Lok Sabha was informed on July 26.
A written reply from the Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar to a question on PM-KISAN posed by the lone Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) Tokheho Yepthomi informed that beneficiaries were highest in Mon at 43,525.
It was followed by Tuensang (27,159) and Longleng (21,663). The district of Kohima had the lowest beneficiaries at 9282, followed Peren (10,886) and Kiphire (11,673).
