A Special Train carrying 426 stranded citizens of Nagaland from Haryana is expected to arrive in Dimapur on May 24.
Out of the 426, a total of 341 persons who are from Dimapur, Peren and Mon districts will be quarantined in Dimapur while 85 persons from the other districts will be sent to Kohima, according to the Empowered Committee, Dimapur.
Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha confirmed the same during his daily briefing and said the train “is expected to arrive at Dimapur tomorrow morning at around 5:40am.”
The Empowered Committee, Dimapur, also informed that the state is expecting its first incoming domestic flight from Guwahati at 9:00 am, May 25. The flight which will then head to Imphal will make a return landing at 12:00 pm in Dimapur and proceed to Guwahati.
Another flight from Kolkata will land in Dimapur at about 3-3:00 pm on the same day.
It further informed that the passenger list will be disclosed “only before boarding.”
Meanwhile, on Saturday, total of 90 persons arrived in Dimapur via train, buses and private vehicles.
