The 4th phase training of National Initiative for School Heads and Teachers Holistic Advancement (NISHTHA) got underway here today at Dr.Neilhouzhou Kire Government Higher Secondary School Seikhazou. NISHTHA is an integrated teachers training for capacity building and enhancing skills of teachers and critical thinking of learners incorporating methods of learning outcomes.
During the introductory session, Dr.Bijano Murry, principal Dr.N.Kire GHSS briefed on various pedagogies such as languages, mathematics, science, social science, social-personal qualities and POCSO Act. The resources of the programme will include Emilo Patton, Deputy Director School Education, Dr.Sukanya Paul(Reader SCERT for Mathematics),Peleno Peteneilhou (PGT English), Yawao Konyak (Research Assistant SCERT for Science), Medemmongla Jamir (Research Associate SCERT), Grace Yanthan ( PGT Social Science), Dr.Bijano Murray, Principal Dr.N.Kire GHSS, Aneile Much( DIET Lecturer for Education), Kenilo Demo( Sr.DIET Lecturer for Maths), Neikulu Curhah( Training Resource Assistant, SCERT), Sonian Jempang(Training Resource Assistant, SCERT) and Vilakhole Naki(Research Associate, Science).
430 teachers registered for this NISHTHA training, organised by District Mission Authority (DMA), Samagra Shiksha Kohima.
