Wokha, May 13 (MExN): A total of 608 stranded persons from Dimapur reached Wokha on May 9, 11 and 12. A DIPR report stated that more stranded passengers from outside the state are expected to arrive at Wokha from over 26 states across the country.
“The District Task Force is making all necessary arrangements to either put them up under home quarantine or quarantine facility centres once they enter the district basing on their travel records and category of zones of the returnee,” report stated.
The District Task Force in order to ensure smooth functioning of the quarantine centers for the anticipated arrival of stranded persons and students, the following committees were constituted for Transportation, Mess, Electrification, water and sanitization and Quarantine center management committee.
