Dimapur June 8 (MExN): The 19th A/C Phek NPF Youth taking pride in what it maintained is the achievement of numerous developmental works in their constituency, as well as in the whole of Nagaland, has queried why there be elections when welfare-government’s like DAN is there.
The development activities is attributed to the DAN government with the active support of Azo Nienuh, Minister for Agriculture, Printing and Stationary, and under the patronage of Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, according to the constituency. “If this is a Government, why do we need elections? Let the present elected members of DAN continue to hold their portfolios for life-time, because the people need a set of dedicated and practical leaders such as the present DAN members. It is our sincere desire that many such new initiatives shall come our way” according to Razuchi Chizo, President in a release.
The Phek District Headquarter had not, in the last one decade, ever received an iota of new initiatives or developments, it was maintained. Therefore, the Chakhesang people appreciate the developments taking place in Phek, ever since the appearance of Azo Nienuh, a dynamic and vision-oriented young leader, who genuinely recognizes the basic need of his people, claimed the release.
“Myriad developmental activities have taken place during the last three years, such as road and office building construction, and renovation of old office buildings” Chizo stated.
