Cautions against unauthorised constructions
DIMAPUR, JUNE 21 (MExN): Advisor for Industries and Commerce, Labour and Skill and Entrepreneurship Department, Imnatiba paid a surprise visit to the Nagaland Fruit & Vegetable Processing Plant (NFVPP) to verify rumours of encroachment on departmental land.
The Advisor was accompanied by the Commissioner and Secretary, Industry and Commerce; Director and other officers of the department and council members of Viola Colony,
On inspection, it was found that there were some unauthorised constructions, informed a press release from the department. The land has been leased to private parties for industrial development, but any additional construction has to be done with the permission of the department.
Hence, it was notified that all present construction, at the entrance of the plot and at the rear of the plot, is to be stopped immediately and that the department will be taking necessary action in this regard.
The Department of Industries & Commerce meanwhile clarified that it has no intention of selling the land to any party.
