Kohima, June 29 (MExN): Nagaland Advisor for Technical Education and Elections Medo Yhokha on Tuesday encouraged government officers and staff to reorient themselves into role models in their communities.
Addressing the Kohima District Planning and Development Board on June 29, the Advisor acknowledged the difficulties and challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic on every level. He however asserted that the pandemic should not be an excuse for government employees to neglect their duties and urged them to take up the roles and responsibilities and reach out to the people, a DIPR report stated.
During the meeting, Kohima Deputy Commissioner Gregory Thejawelie underscored the urgent need to prepare the People's Biodiversity Registers (PBRs) by June 30 and the concerned officials to send the details to the Nagaland State Biodiversity Board for submission to the National Green Tribunal.
During the meeting, North East Taekwondos Union and Nagaland International Research Center Societies were recommended for registration by the board and the members also recommended for approval to the State Government of LADP 2021-2022 and Grant-in-Aid to three private schools for the academic session of 2021-2022.
The meeting also discussed reopening of government offices with 50% of staff and officer in attendance by following all the SOPs and guidelines, the DIPR report stated.
