PHEK, JULY 22 (MExN): The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pfutsero, Japheth Woch, NCS has issued a restriction order in view of the detection of African Swine Fever at Phusachodu village. An order from the ADC said that the area coming within 1 km radius i.e. whole Phusachodu village has been declared as infected and a containment zone. The area falling within 10 km radius i.e. Thipuzu, Rihuba, Kikruma and Rukizu Colony, Pfutsero have also been declared as surveillance zones. Inter village transportation of live pigs and pork from the affected area is now strictly prohibited till further orders.
