DIMAPUR, JUNE 8 (MExN): Troops of the Assam Rifles in a joint operation with Nagaland Police apprehended an “active cadre” of NSCN (IM) near 5th Mile in Dimapur on June 5. A press release from the PIB (Defence Wing) identified the cadre as one Captain Nganaomi. The team also recovered one radio based mobile system, one canon camera, six mobile phones and “other incriminating documents.” The apprehended individual along with recovered items has been handed over to Diphupar Police Station for further investigations.
