DIMAPUR, JUNE 8 (MExN): The Dimapur Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) extended administrative support to Western Sumi HOHO Church in managing COVID Quarantine Center at Livingstone Foundation School, Thahekhu by distributing essential ration to its management.
A press release from the PRO, IGARN said that the Pastor and teachers of the Church and School expressed gratitude for the kind gesture and relief materials provided to them.
Meanwhile, the Tizit Battalion of Assam Rifles observed ‘World Environment Day’ by carrying out tree plantation and cleanliness drive at Tizit, Aboi, Wakching village of Mon district.
Under the motto “Planting Health for Future”, the Assam Rifles spearheaded the entire drive by planting fruit bearing saplings.
