Subject toppers with officials of Baptist College Kohima.
Kohima, July 17 (MExN): The Baptist College, Kohima held a felicitation programme for the subject toppers from the institution in the 3 years undergraduate final semester examination, 2022 conducted by Nagaland University.
In a programme held at Rivenburgs Memorial Chapel Hall, Kohima on July 7 last, Dr Kekuchol Pusa, Principal, Baptist College congratulated the toppers and also encouraged them to do well in future. Pusa further commented that, there is no greater joy for a teacher than seeing his students do well and achieving success.
Tseivilie Miachieo, Chairman, Governing Body, Baptist College was the guest of honour at the event.
He expressed appreciation to the toppers who brought laurels to the institution by their hard work, dedication and sincerity. He reminded the students to always maintain their integrity and honesty wherever they are placed in life.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Dr Tsenbeni, Assistant Professor, Department of English.
Congratulatory remarks were made by the teaching faculties Dr Sentinaro, Head, Department of English, Baptist College and Kezhalelhou Zatsu, Assistant Professor, Commerce.
All the four toppers—Jyoti Kumari Sharma, 6th rank (B.com) CGPA: 6.72; Neimenuo Rio, 8th rank (B.com) CGPA: 6.67; Nuzhienuo Kire, 9th rank (B.com) CGPA: 6.62; and Lochumbeni K Humtsoe, 9th rank, B.A, English Honours CGPA: 6.49 expressed their thankfulness to the college for providing guidance and relentless support to do well in their academics.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Narola Chuba, Vice Principal, Baptist College, Kohima.
