A new Café Resto ‘Block2takeout’ located at Sangtemla Ward, Mokokchung was launched on March 19.
The new Café Resto is owned by Jungshi Walling, a 20 year old aspiring entrepreneur who ventured into the food business in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
Jungshi Walling after his 12th standard took up a crash course in Management and Hospitality and Aviation at Emporium training centre in Dimapur and got himself placed at the Oberoi Vanyavilas, Hotels and Resort in Rajasthan where he worked for seven months.
His inspiration to open a restaurant came while working at the Oberois. He also drew his inspiration from the 24-year-old Vemele Dawhuoe the owner of Le Bistro, Kohima, whose story he read in one of the features of The Morung Express.
The Café Resto specializes in Continental and Korean and will offer home delivery. The resto will also offer 10% off to students in uniform. The Café Resto is located at Sangtemla Ward, opposite to HDFC Bank and will be open on all weekdays from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
