Mokokchung, March 11 (MExN): A one day Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) online registration and licensing camp was organised at Longleng town on March 9.
A press release from District Programme Management Unit, NRHM, Mokokchung stated that the camp was conducted by the Food Safety wing Mokokchung Zone, Chief Medical Officer office, Mokokchung in co-ordination with district administration and CMO office, Longleng.
C Merenlemba Ao, the designated officer, gave a statement on the objective of the camp which was held to create awareness on food safety and responsibilities of Food Business Operators (FBOs) and how to apply online for FSSAI registration and licensing.
Further, the press release stated that those who missed out the registration and licensing camp can apply online at https://foscos.fssai.gov.in.
