A career counselling programme was organised by the District Administration & District Level Centre for Women, Manila Shakti Kendra (BBBP), Mokokchung in collaboration with Christian Crossroads Ministry (CCM), Mokokchung at ADC Planning Conference Hall, Mokokchung on January 22.
Dr Sentitula, DFO, Mokokchung; Sentilong Ozukum, Civil Servant & author; and Tzukti Longkumer, Longpok Holdings, Mokokchung were the resource persons of the programme.
Dwelling on ‘Life skills and Livelihood,’ Dr Sentitula spoke on developing life skills and livelihood by focusing on poultry and piggery management.
She also gave the technical and theoretical know-how involved in poultry and piggery farming.
Meanwhile, Ozukum gave a brief idea on the various civil service exams in India and in Nagaland and motivated the young audience on various topics related to jobs, employment and keys to survival.
Longkumer elaborated on the idea of Entrepreneurship covering various areas of ‘money making’, savings, time management and qualities to become a successful entrepreneur.
Each session was followed by discussion and questioning hour.
