Chümoukedima, March 27 (MExN): The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Patkai Christian College (Autonomous), in collaboration with ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) and Don Bosco Job Placement Network, organised the Career & Job Fair 2026 at the college’s Indoor Stadium, New Campus, on March 27.
The programme began with an invocation by Neilevono Vupru, Dean of Arts & Commerce.
Delivering the inaugural address, Principal Dr. Thepfuvilie Pieru spoke on the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and skill enhancement in navigating today’s competitive and evolving job market. She encouraged students to step beyond conventional career choices and pursue opportunities aligned with their interests and strengths.

The event brought together students from different academic disciplines, providing a platform to explore career opportunities, higher education pathways, skill development programmes, and employment prospects.
Institutions and organisations that participated included Frankfinn, Imperial IAS Academy, Arms Incorporation, Lovely Professional University, Honour Career Junction, WITI (Women Industrial Training Institute), Oriental Theological Seminary, Meghalaya Institute of Technology, State Institute of Hotel Management, Flywayy, and the Army Recruiting Office, Rangapahar, Dimapur. They shared information on academic programmes, vocational training, and emerging career trends.

In the recruitment segment, companies such as Chilli Breeze, Talent Acquaintance, Reliance Jio, KFC, Nalanda International Public School, and Flywayy interacted with students, outlining job roles, eligibility criteria, and growth opportunities.
Around 300 students attended the fair, participating in interactive sessions, counselling discussions, and on-the-spot interviews. A total of 21 candidates were interviewed during the programme.
