Mokokchung, November 22 (MExN): The 15th Central Review Mission team visited Mokokchung district for monitoring and supervision of health units in the district on November 21.
A press release from Chief Medical Officer, Mokokchung stated that the CRM team was led by Dr Sila Deb, In-charge Nutrition (RCH) from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, accompanied by state officials from the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima.
The team held a meeting at the Conference hall, Metsuben Hotel with the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Superintendent, District Programme Officers and staff from the Department of Health & Family Welfare Mokokchung. During the meeting, the visiting team interacted with the attendees on the activities of the different programmes under the department.
Dr Limatula Aier, CMO in a PowerPoint presentation gave an overview of Mokokchung district profile and key performance indicators. Further, Dr Marina, Medical Superintendent, IMDH presented a brief overview of the District Hospital profile.
The team will visit District hospital and different health units under Mokokchung district till November 24. During their visit the CRM team will interact with medical officers, health workers, ASHAs and stakeholders. The team will check reports, records and activities carried out at health units in the district.
