Dimapur, May 14 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has mourned the demise of Neisatuo Keditsu who passed away in Dimapur on May 13.
“Late Neisatuo Keditsu was a prominent citizen of Dimapur and widely respected for his pioneering efforts towards the growth of the city in the past decades. He was also a respected social worker who made significant contributions towards charitable and welfare activities which were mainly aimed at helping the needy and the weaker sections of society,” the Chief Minister stated in a condolence message on Friday.
His legacy will be remembered by future generations in a positive and inspirational manner, he added.
The CM stated that late Keditsu and his family were closely associated with his own family and conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of his family.
NBA: The Nagaland Bar Association has mourned the demise of Neisatuo Keditsu who passed away of May 13 in Dimapur.
Late Keditsu was a pioneer of the association under whose convenorship the association was formed on September 27, 1969, the NBA stated in condolence message on Friday.
“With the passing away of Late N Keditsu, the Association has not only lost the surviving founding member but also a father figure to the Bar Association,” it stated while lamenting its inability to pay last tribute to the departed soul due to the present pandemic situation. “It is our earnest prayer that the almighty God comfort and give strength to near and dear ones at this hour of distress and suffering. May the departed soul rest in eternal peace,” it added.
TSUD: The Tenyimi Students' Union Dimapur conveyed heartfelt condolences to the family members of Neisatuo Keditsu, father of TSUD Advisor Alezo Keditsu.
“The Union fondly remembers the contributions and sacrifices made by our late father to the Tenyimi Students' community and to the society. It is a sad day for us all and in his passing we have lost a great leader, who was always ready to assist us,” it stated in a condolence note.
