Noklak, September 24 (MExN): In an order, the Deputy Commissioner of Noklak, Arikumba has restricted the entry of all types of vehicles inside the public playground in Noklak with immediate effect.
Only emergency response vehicles and authorised maintenance personnel are exempted. According to the State DIPR, the DC issued the order with a view to maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for playground users.
The order stated that vehicles are frequently found parked and moving inside the public ground for unauthorised purposes, including reckless driving and practice driving. This poses significant risks to users’ safety, damages fields and facilities, and disrupts recreational activities, it added.
Consequently, the DC issued the restriction order and cautioned that any violation would be subject to appropriate penal/legal action.
