Chümoukedima, March 10 (MExN): Dimapur and Chümoukedima electrical divisions consume nearly 59% of the State’s total energy consumption. This was stated by Joint Secretary Power, Sara S Jamir on Thursday.
According to a DIPR report, Jamir stated this during the visit of the special team of the Power Department to the Office of Chümoukedima Division on March 10. Addressing the meeting, she insisted all concerned to improve billing and collection efficiency.
During their visit, the Joint Secretary expressed appreciation to all officers and staff of the Chümoukedima Electrical division for the remarkable improvement in revenue collection especially after the formation of the Special Revenue team from September 2021 till date. She further encouraged all billing assistants and meter readers to keep up the sincere efforts in the coming days.
Further, she acknowledged EE Chümoukedima Electrical Division Arohi Achini who is on the verge of retirement, for his sincerity and dedication to the general public and further encouraged the officers and staff to follow in his footsteps.
The DIPR report also stated that the EE Chümoukedima thanked the special revenue team for taking the initiative to encourage and supervise the division in all revenue activities for the overall improvement in revenue collection for the state as a whole.
