Dimapur DC distributes masks to migrant workers

Dimapur, May 15 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi distributed washable cotton masks to migrant workers, the poor and needy in the streets of Dimapur on May 15.
Wearing of masks has become mandatory for all, as a preventive measure to fight the pandemic.
The distribution of cotton washable masks by DC Dimapur was a blessing for many poor people and the migrant workers, as they would be able to use it for at least a year, a DIPR report stated.
Further, the DC also accompanied the announcement team and created awareness on hand hygiene and social distancing especially in crowded locations and interacted with people, motivating them. He was accompanied by DPRO Dimapur, Lolano Patton.
Anoop informed that he would continue with the campaign as much as possible, stating that wearing of mask, hand hygiene and social distancing were the three most important steps to be practiced by everyone to keep away from the virus.
He also personally visited some shops to check whether banned tobacco items were being sold.
