Dimapur, March 22 (MExN): The Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation (DUCCF) has announced that the press release issued on March 3 regarding the full support and cooperation to the Power Department for installation of electricity prepaid metering system will stand “null and void” till further consultative discussions and proper sanitizations of the electricity prepaid metering are done inclusive of the GB Union Dimapur (sadar).
The Federation stated in its press release that this was resolved during an emergency executive meeting held on March 17. It also resolved that the joint meeting with the GB union Dimapur (Sadar) and the DUCCF held on February 28 was a collective decision and the DUCCF stands firm with the collective decision held on that day. It also reiterated that DUCCF is “an apex body of the Chairmen of 98 colonies and stands for the citizens and the denizens of the Urban Municipal Area of Dimapur.”
