Dimapur, May 15 (MExN): The Darogapathar Village Council (DVC), in the interest of public health safety of the citizens of Darogapathar Village, has issued directives to be strictly adhered by the quarantine centers located in its jurisdiction.
DVC chairman Nungtokmeren Jamir and Secretray K Ado Bizo in a press release appealed to ensure that the whole vicinity of the quarantine center is sanitized on a regular basis, sufficient PPE kits, medical kits and expert supervision is provided to the members of the quarantine center, enough security forces be provided for the center and any persons or working staff once inside the quarantine center shall not be permitted entry or exit.
It also mentioned that the management of the quarantine center should update the village council on the health status of members present on regular basis and total public movement within the quarantine zone shall be restricted.
In the event of any positive case of COVID-19 detected in the quarantine center, the Village Council must be intimated immediately, it added.
