Allocation of booths to polling parties
All polling personnel of Kohima district are informed that allocation of polling booths will be displayed on April 7 at DC’s Office Complex. All polling parties have been directed to check their polling booth allocations within their allocated assembly constituencies without fail. Further, it has been informed that the polling groups whose group number is reflected in their appointment order with a combination of letter C falls under ‘Reserve Group’, hence they will not get their booth allocation but will report to DC’s Office on April 8 & 9. The individual reserve personnel whose names are displayed in the Reserve List need not report for duty unless they are called by Control Room or any authorized official performing polling personnel related duty.
SVEEP audio mobile van to visit Sechu Zubza
The SVEEP audio mobile van will culminate its campaign at Sechu Zubza on April 7, 2014 where a programme on SVEEP awareness will be held at DBs Court at 11:00 am. SDO(C), Sechu Zubza, Mohammad Ali, IAS, will give a speech on SVEEP awareness while Information Assistant Jakhama, Metevizo Sothu will elaborate on SVEEP in local dialect. Vote of thanks will be given by APRO, IPR Department, Nongozo Rikha while the programme will be chaired by Information Assistant, IPR Department, Akummeren Jamir. Besides distribution of pamphlets etc, there will be screening of SVEEP ‘My Vote is Precious’ and ‘My Vote Makes My Future’.

All the micro observers and videographers/ photographers appointed for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections for Kohima district have been informed to attend the final briefing on April 7, 2014 at 11:00 am at DC’s conference hall, Kohima.
