ENCSU seeks integration of Eastern Sumi College students into ENSU

Dimapur, September 6 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland College Students’ Union (ENCSU) has issued a formal appeal for the inclusion and integration of Eastern Sumi College students into the Eastern Naga Students’ Union (ENSU), extending to all federating units across colleges within and outside Nagaland.

In a communiqué addressed to the presidents of all federating units of ENSU, the ENCSU stated, “We, the Eastern Nagaland College Students’ Union (ENCSU) are delighted to bring forth this formal application for the integration of Eastern Sumi College students into our venerable organization, i.e. ENSU. This initiative aims to harness the collective potential of our members and foster a spirit of unity and cooperation.”

According to the Union, the participation of Eastern Sumi College students has brought “a plethora of fresh perspectives and dynamism to our fraternity, thereby augmenting our collective efficacy.”

It urged all federating units to extend a warm welcome to the new members and facilitate their “seamless integration into ENSU,” enabling their active participation in all activities and building camaraderie.

The ENCSU also outlined directives to ensure successful integration. These included inclusive participation of Eastern Sumi College students in all ENSU events, recognition of their membership with attendant benefits and responsibilities, and promotion of collaborative synergy among all members.

“By integrating Eastern Sumi College students into ENSU, we envision a future where they synergize their efforts to achieve great heights, fostering a culture of unity, solidarity, and collective progress among all ENSU members of college students within and outside the State of Nagaland,” the statement read.

The Union reaffirmed its “unwavering commitment to unity, solidarity, and collective progress among all ENSU members of college students,” expressing optimism about the successful inclusion.

The appeal was issued by ENCSU President Mankap C Konyak and General Secretary Kpongjikhiung Yimkhiung.
