Advisor R Khing and other during the inauguration of the Government High School, Chunlikha annexed school building on March 11.

Chunlikha, March 12 (MExN): Government High School, Chunlikha annexed school building funded under HUDCO loan by Department of School Education, Government of Nagaland was inaugurated on March 11.
A press release received here stated that Advisor, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services and Women Resources Development, R Khing was the special guest. Khing encouraged the students and parents to avail and utilize the best facilities provided by the government for development of human resources. He also encouraged the teachers to be sincere in their duties.
The function chaired by Dr Zasekuolie Chusi, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Tseminyu was attended by a host of officials from the School Education Department, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Department, Rengma Hoho and Rengma Students' Union, village councils and members from Kithagha Range (Nsunyu, Chunlikha and Likhwenchu) led by Kithagha Public Organization and neighbouring villages from Chunlikha Block.
After the dedicatory prayer by Rev Khankhu Magh and unveiling of inaugural plaque by the special guest, a short function followed wherein the welcome address was delivered by T Semy, OSD to Chief Minister and presentations were made by students of Jireh School, Chunlikha and Chunlikha Cultural Club.
Khinyi Woch, President, Kithagha Public Organization shared a brief history of GHS Chunlikha. A memorandum was also submitted to the government on the need for upgradation of the oldest school in the Northern Rengma area established in 1961 to Higher Secondary School (Science Stream).
Rengma Hoho, President, Pollem Tep delivered greetings while I Temjen Ao, Additional Director, School Education spoke on behalf of the Department. Er Vilini Wotsa gave the technical report of the construction of the 2-storreyed RCC building with 11-rooms including four toilets, administrative block, laboratory, library and disabled friendly ramp.
Asao Seb, Headmaster, GHS Chunlikha delivered the words of gratitude while Pastor of Kithagha Union Baptist Church, Haiwachu Magh said the closing prayer.
