Impur, April 22 (MExN): The Impur Christian Hospital (ICH) and Impur Clinic Mokokchung will be rendering free services for medical consultations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Any patient requiring the medical services may avail the same from April 23, informed a press release from Ao Baptist Church Association (ABAM) Executive Secretary, Rev Dr Mar Atsongchanger.
The services will be available for a limited period only, it added.
The ICH, according to ABAM's website, pioneered healing ministry and nurturing it since 1912 under the supervision of Dr JR Bailey, a American Medical Missionary.
“The ICH has been one of the best Hospitals in the region and providing enormous services for the people of Mokokchung, Tuensang, Longleng, Zunheboto and Mon districts,” it said.
Along with its branch of Diagnostic Centre at Mokokchung Town equipped with laboratory, X-ray, ECG, Endoscopy and pharmacy, the ICH has been doing charitable works for the needy and has been conducting free medical camps in the interior villages of the above mentioned districts, it added.
