Instruments of Peace: DNLBEPK Music Fest 2023 concludes

Dimapur, September 28 (MExN): The Dimapur Nkonjan Lotha Baptist Ekhumkho Pongdenro Khumshum (DNLBEPK) held its Music Fest 2023 on the theme ‘Instruments of Peace’ (Psalms 98:4-6; Colossians 3:15), which was hosted by the Lotha Baptist Church Seithekema C on September 23. 

The event was attended by 13 churches under DNLPEK. “The event was organized to bring the youths together and celebrate togetherness through music,” a press release received here stated. 

The event was divided into two sessions: the competition round and a musical evening. The competition consisted of Octet and duet, where nine churches and eight churches competed in the Octet and Duet competition respectively. LBC Bor Lengri bagged first place, followed by LBC Dimapur in second place and LBC Purana Bazar in third place for the Octet competition. LBC Chümoukedima bagged first place, followed by LBC Bor Lengri in second place and LBC Dimapur in third place for the Duet competition.

The second session was a display of musical talents and special performances from various churches that attended the event. The congregation was also enthralled with choral pieces by the Coronation Choir, Golden Crown Theological College.
