Dimapur, July 9 (MExN): Dr. Jan Nienu from California, a specialist in early childhood education exhorted parents, particularly the younger lot of parents on early childhood parenting on evening of July 8, at Café Caffeine Jasokie Place, Kohima.

Interactive discipline needs patience, energy but it really works, she maintained. She also dwelt on the need to developing and building strong social skills and self esteem for the children. Parenting is not an easy job, but as parents you are called by God to raise your children she said and exhorted them to support one another, so as to raise the children in the right direction.
Many concerned parents raised questions to the early childhood educator, related to early childhood parenting, which they have been facing practically.
Presently, Dr. Jan Nienu is the Director of Treehouse Pre-school at Oakland California.
