Kohima, March 29 (MExN): The Kohima District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Shanavas C, IAS at DPDB conference hall, Kohima on March 29.
The House deliberated on the agenda of Cimorb Public School, Kezo town, Chakhabama, seeking permission of opening new private school. The officer in charge highlighted that the School was established in the year 2010 and the school has enough classrooms, furniture and TLM for the children. The officer in charge stated that the overall academic performance of the teachers was good as the students for the last three years were found to be satisfactory. She mentioned that the management of the school is well planned and fulfilled all the necessary criteria laid down by the department.
The meeting deliberated on the agenda of change of nomenclature from Charity School, Kohima to Charity Higher Secondary School, Kohima for upgradation till class 11 which the house decided to take it up to the higher authorities for consideration.
Later, the DC highlighted on the draft prepared for the new members for 2023-2024 of Village Adoption Committee and Verification Committee for LADP.
District Sericulture Officer, Kohima highlighted the departmental activities which included of silkworm rearing and schemes available.
