Kohima Excise and others with seized IMFL in Kohima on July 8.
Kohima, July 10 (MExN): The Kohima Excise Department conducted raids at Lerie colony along with the council members, GBs and women representatives of Lerie colony and seized 1108 bottles and cans of assorted IMFL on July 8. It was part of the department’s effort to check the illegal sale/trafficking of IMFL in and around Kohima town, a press release said. Assistant Commissioner of Excise Kohima (Zonal), S Phyobemo Kikon further informed that Kohima Excise will continue to conduct extensive raids in the days to come and also sought the cooperation of the public/NGOs by informing the concerned departments about any illegal sale of liquor/drugs within their locality.
