Kohima, July 28 (MExN): In view of 6th session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) on July 30, the following traffic regulations will be enforced as part of the security arrangement:
Only vehicles with the following car passes will be allowed entry to the Assembly Secretariat.
• ‘X’ (White letter with Red background) - For Legislators
• ‘Y’ (Green letter with White background) - For AHoDs/HoDs
• ‘Assembly Logo’- For Assembly Staff
• ‘LH’ (White letter with Blue background) - For Police Personnel and PS/PA
• ‘O’ (Black letter with Yellow background) - For IPR/Media and Other Department
• ‘ON ASSEMBLY DUTY’ (Red letter with Blue background) – For Staff Bus/Pool & Dak Vehicles
No vehicle will be allowed to be parked by the roadside from 0600 hrs onwards during Assembly Sessions at the following routes:
• From BSNL Telephone Exchange till Classic Island.
• From Raj Bhavan till M.S Classic Island.
• From Classic Island to Tinpati via Razhü Point.
• Tinpati to Billy Graham Road via Don Bosco Jn.
• From Tinpati to High School Junction.
• From High School Junction to New Secretariat via Sanourü bridge.
There will be one way traffic via Sanourü Bridge for vehicles going down to New Capital Complex. Vehicles going up to Kohima Town from New Capital Complex shall take Billy Graham – Don Bosco School – Tinpati route. Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to be parked along ‘D’ Block road.
“While anticipating positive co-operation from the public, the police will tow away the defaulting vehicles and the charges will be borne by the vehicles owners,” Kohima Police stated in a press release.
