JALUKIE, JUNE 13 (MExN): The Kuki Union Jalukie Town (KUJT) in collaboration with the Kuki Society, 9th IR Bn. Saijang extended helping hand to the Joint Action Committee (JAC) on COVID-19 on June 12.
A short programme was held in the residence of JAC Convenor, Dr. Tumda Newme at Jalukie 'B'. The executives of the union along with the Advisory Boards handed over a sum of Rs 12,000 to the JAC Convenor for use in the management of quarantine centres in the presence of leaders of ZBCC, ZBN and Zeliang Welfare Organisation.
A prayer for all the inmates of quarantine centres and the leaders of JAC was pronounced by Kuki Baptist Fellowship Jalukie, Chaplain, Lamhao Sitlhou.
