Logos College 21st Convocation Exercise 

Dimapur, April 1 (MExN): The Logos College, Dimapur observed its 21st Convocation Exercise under the theme ‘be a prophetic voice’ (Jeremiah 1:7-8) on March 31. The Convocation was graced by Rev Dr Nancy Lynn Nethercott, Chaplain at The Robert E Webber Institute for Worship Studies, USA, as the Convocation Speaker. 

Dr Nancy is the great-grandniece of JE Tanquist, Missionary to Nagaland in the early 1900, who also was the first to translate the Bible into Tenyidie. He is the founder of Angami Literature Committee, headquarter now at Ura Academic, and also started the first Bible School in Kohima. Rev Dr N Paphino, President, Logos College, did the commissioning prayer for the Graduating students. 

The deserving candidates were also presented with prestigious awards. Manju Lama bagged the Logos Award which was awarded to the candidate excelling in the areas of Academic, Spiritual, and Campus life. She also bagged the Academic Award from the Master of Divinity, and the Language Award. Lipokmenla Changkiri was awarded with the Academic Award from the Bachelor of Theology. 

The Best Preaching Award was given to Kelhounguzo from Master of Divinity, and Kipa Chuku from Bachelor of Theology. The Most-Improved Student Award was given to Thehiechütuo Metha from Bachelor of Theology. There were twenty-two students in total who graduated in their respective courses in this academic session.

Logos College is an interdenominational institute established in 2000, and currently associated with Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong, which is recognized under UGC. The institute bears membership with Asia Theological Association, and accredited to National Association for Theological Accreditation. 

Logos College offers Diploma in Theology, Bachelor of Theology, Master of Arts (Christian Studies), and Master of Divinity as Residential Course. It also offers Semi-Residential Course for full-time church workers viz: Bachelor of Ministry and Master of Ministry. With the academic session having come to an end, admission now opens for the new academic session 2023-2024.
