Longleng, October 13 (MExN): Two day re-orientation training of health workers on IDSP-IHIP (Integrated Health Information Platform) was conducted on October 12 and 14 at CMO conference hall Longleng. The resource person was Angelina Jungi, PO- Surveillance, NISHTHA JHPIEGO.
Dr Tiasunep, CMO Longleng emphasised about the importance of the IHIP reporting and encouraged all the health units to give quality reporting, stated a press release from the CMO office Longleng. The IHIP reporting is a daily based reporting system and its purpose is to strengthen the disease Surveillance in the District by establishing a decentralized state based Surveillance system for epidemic prone disease to detect the early warning signals, so that timely and effective Public Health actions can be initiated in response to health Challenges.
The training was attended by Lab-technicians, staff nurses, DEO, ANMs, GNMs, and CHOs of HWC, SC, PHC, District Hospital and IDSP staff.
