Niuland, July 26 (MexN): Amidst the resurgence of COVID-19 cases in the country as well as in the district, the Deputy Commissioner Nuiland, Sara S Jamir in an advisory informed that wearing of face mask will be compulsory in public places and markets in the district.
All shopowners under Niuland District were also directed to arrange facilities for hand sanitisation of their shop premises.
Further, the general public are urged to follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviour and to get vaccinated.
Since Niuland has a low percentage of COVID-19 vaccination, the general public are encouraged to get vaccinated or receive booster dose from the Community Health Centre, Niuland, read the advisory issued on July 25.
In addition, the general public was urged to observe COVID-19 appropriate behaviour such as wearing face mask, sanitizing of hands & premises and to ensure social distancing at social, cultural, sports, political, religious, entertainment, academic functions and all other kinds of public gatherings.
