MGM HSS students take part in poster campaign against all form of war and aggression in the world.
Dimapur, March 12 (MExN): The MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur organized a poster campaign against all form of war and aggression in the world. More than 60 students from Class 4 to Class 11 took part in the campaign by creating posters and collages to express “their concern over the people who suffer miseries and destruction due to wars.”
Rev Fr Dr PS Varghese, Vice-President, MGM HSS in his message to the students and faculty said that peace and reconciliation is a major study across the world. “We need a peace loving, peace living and peace practicing communities in the world,” he said.
Addressing students in the morning assembly, Reji Abraham, Principal, MGM HSS said that students need to be sensitive towards issues concerning the world and should learn to react to it. “We can expect for a better world without war and aggression only when young people have a heart to understand others misery. The present day students are the future leaders and decision makers,” he stated.
