Minister Tongpang Ozukum with officials from NDPP Angetyongpang AC under NDPP Mokokchung Region and village council leaders and party members in Yaongyimti (Old) village, Mokokchung.
Mokokchung, July 14 (MExN): Minister for Mechanical and Housing (PWD), Tongpang Ozukum inspected the construction of community hall at Yaongyimti Old and Yaongyimti New on July 14 which is being undertaken from the funds provided under the Iconic Project initiated by Government of Nagaland.
Minister Tongpang was accompanied by officials from NDPP Angetyongpang AC under NDPP Mokokchung Region. Later, NDPP officials and the minister also interacted with the village council leaders and party members in Yaongyimti Old, Yaongyimti New and Phangsang, informed a press release issued by the press secretary to the Minister.
Mention may be made that the concept of ‘Iconic Projects’ was introduced during the presentation of 2021-22 State Budget by Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio in February. Accordingly, each member of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly can take up an ‘Iconic Projects’ under LADP annually as per the specific actual needs in each constituency,
