Moakumzuk from Mopungchuket village of Mokokchung district won the coveted title of Mr. Nagaland 2018 at the 2nd edition of Mr. Nagaland and Men’s Physique contest held at State Academy Hall Kohima on November 29 last.
The contest was organized by Nagaland Body Building & Fitness Association (NBBFA).
Winning the title, Moakumzuk pocketed a cash prize of Rs. 30,000. Temjennukshi Jamir Men’s Physique 2018 title. In the 60 kg category, Alobo Chishi bagged the first prize, while Moamenen Tzüdir and Alemba Thonglim bagged second and third positions respectively.
In the 65 kg category, Kikhrukhretuo Suokhrie, Kuvemuri Ringa and Vikshiekho Pucho bagged the first, second and third positions respectively.
In the 75 kg category, Moakumzuk, Moalong Yaden and Okoomen Jamir bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
Youth resources & sports advisor Er. Zale Neikha graced the occasion as special guest. He encouraged Naga youth to focus on weight-lifting as there is fair scope to excel in this area.
