More returnees to arrive in Nagaland

DIMAPUR, MAY 28 (MExN): A total of 52 stranded citizens reached Nagaland on May 28 as of late evening on May 28. A DIPR report informed that 41 people arrived from New Delhi and Dibrugarh by train; 4 arrived from Guwahati by ambulance, and 7 from Arunachal by bus.  Meanwhile, as per the control room, Dimapur, more returnees were scheduled to arrive in the State in the early hours of May 28. 19 passengers were scheduled to reach Dimapur by train from New Delhi at around 1:30 am on May 29. In addition, 2 from Dibrugarh are set to arrive at around 2:40 am.  A special train from Andhra Pradesh to the North East with 93 passengers of Nagaland which started on May 26 was also expected to reach Dimapur later in the night. A further 128 passengers from Kolkata by 4 buses and a special train from Rajasthan carrying 369 stranded citizens of Nagaland will reach Lumding at around 5:00 am on May 29. However, Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha put the number of Nagaland passengers in the train from Jaipur at 250.
