Movement relaxed in Dimapur border areas

Dimapur, June 23 (MExN): Dimapur Deputy Commissioner, Anoop Khinchi on Tuesday issued an order allowing movement of people settled in certain border areas of Dimapur for availing essential services, with effect from June 24.


In an order issued on June 23, the DC stated that “certain relaxations are hereby granted at the following locations namely, (i) Bor Lengri Imli Ghas Junction (ii) LRC Bridge connecting Balijan, (iii) Notun Basti Bridge connecting Tea garden and (iv) Aoyimsen for allowing movement of the people settled in the border areas of Dimapur for essential needs/availing medical facilities and the students to pursue their education.”


A register is to be maintained at the gate for registering anyone passing through the Interstate Boundary. Thermal screening is to be done and use of masks and hand sanitizers will be mandatory, it stated.
