Dimapur, March 17 (MExN): The NNC (Parent Body) has appealed to all the political groups and leaders to come forward for Naga national unity, stating that “it is the only way forward to bring political solution in the Homeland.”
“Political differences in ideologies, stands and approaches towards political solution are immensely affecting all strata in the Homeland,” the NNC (Parent Body) said, while cautioning that it would be dangerous “if it goes wrong at this critical and sensitive point for the Naga people.”
A press release from the Information & Publicity Wing stated that the organisation had held serious deliberations on the Naga political issues confronting all the national workers at present and the people in the Homeland at this critical juncture.
“Therefore the NNC, being the Parent Body, taking all accounts seriously appeal to all the Naga national workers and groups to be humble and hate-less, and by truly loving the people and homeland in reality to sit across the table and thrash out all the differences and obstacles facing the leaders, and to bring about an honourable, acceptable and concrete political solution for peace and prosperity in the region,” it said.
Further, it also requested the Naga Club, Forum for Naga Reconciliation and Global Naga Forum to jointly initiate and bring all the groups and leaders across the table for talks in the best interest of all the people and peace in the Homeland.
