The BJP Nagaland ST Morcha distributed one-time meal to the frontline workers, volunteers and police personnel in Kohima for the third consecutive day on May 17 at Jail colony junction, PHQ Junction, TCP Junction, Old MLA Hostel Junction, Razü point, Tin Patti Junction, High school Junction, Lerie Junction and New Reserve Checkpost. The team distributed a total 140 food packets.
Team Dimapur led by Y Kikheto Sema visited Community Health Center, Medziphema on May 17. Impressed with the functioning of Medziphema CHC, Sema commented that it was one of the most well maintained health center and asked the health workers to be mentally prepared for COVID war and to get minimum of 15 COVID beds ready though the ratio of COVID cases at Medziphema was comparatively small (80 cases) compared to Dimapur with 2300 positive cases. Advisor Zhaleo Rio was also seen creating awareness and encouraging the people to take the vaccination provided free of cost by the Government. The Nodal Officer expressed gratitude and appealed to the Advisor to convey to the members and authority about the enormous responsibility that Dimapur was shouldering and the need for huge resources.
