
Dimapur, July 26 (MExN): A total of 14 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Nagaland while the death toll increased to 763 with one fresh fatality in Mokokchung district on Tuesday. As per the daily bulletin issued by state Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP), nine of the new cases were reported in Kohima, three in Mokokchung, and one each in Mon and Phek.
The state’s cumulative recoveries increased to 33,356 as 14 patients—Kohima (6), Phek (4), Dimapur (3) and Peren (1), recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours. With this, the cumulative caseload in the state stands at 35,723 out of which 100 are active cases. Of the active cases, 49 are asymptomatic, 48 mild, two moderate on oxygen and one in ICU on ventilator, the IDSP bulletin stated.
