ANGSU condemns
Kohima, March 25 (MExN): The All Nagaland Gorkha Students' Union (ANGSU) strongly condemned the alleged ‘attempted murder’ of one 22-year-old woman by Abdul Majid on March 22 last.It's distressing to see such a vile act perpetrated against an innocent girl, stated a release issued by ANGSU vice president Sunil Limbu. The Union urged all conscientious citidens and organizations to vehemently denounce such crimes, seek justice for the victim, and work towards preventing future incidents in society.
Assam Rifles apprehends Yung Aung-led NSCN (K) cadre
Kohima, March 25 (MExN): The Assam Rifles, acting on specific input, arrested one cadre of Yung Aung-led NSCN (K) during a special operation in general area of Merangkong on March 23. The cadre was in held possession of one single barrel country-made gun, informed a press release from the IGAR (N). The apprehended individual and the recovered weapon have been handed over to the police, it added.
