NE Food Processors Meet in Kohima today

Kohima, July 21 (MExN): The North East Food Processors Meet (Technological Upgradation I  Bankers Meet I Investor Meet) will take place on July 22 at Hotel de Oriental Grand, Kohima from 10:00 AM onwards.
Nagaland’s minister for agriculture & cooperation G. Kaito Aye and Y Kikheto Sema, principal secretary & Agriculture Production Commissioner will also address the meet.
Special address will be made by Kekhrievor Kevichusa, Commissioner & Secretary, Industries and Commerce department, Nagaland.
The meet will feature session on government and banking schemes, round table session on opportunities in food processing sector with low cost and efficient technology and investors meet.
Business meeting on B2B and investor meet between entrepreneurs and FPOs from Nagaland, MOFPI, NIFTEM, NABARD and other representatives have been scheduled at 2:15 PM.
The meet is being held under the aegis of Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of Nagaland and Indian Chamber of Commerce, informed Kohima District Industries Centre general manager Sukhonlal Langthasa.
 

 

DC Kohima informs landowners

Kohima, July 21 (MExN): DC Kohima Shanavas C, IAS has informed the concerned landowners that land compensation for 2-Lane Kohima- By-pass Re-aligned (Altered) Portion and Unaltered Portion list of Package-3 would be paid in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima on July 22 and 23 at 10:00 am. He has requested the concerned land owners to be present physically and to bring along 5 (five) recent passport size photos (not to scan), Aadhaar card (xerox); ID Proof, and a copy of the Bank Passbook (xerox of front page). The DC has also informed the concerned Village Chairman or a representative appointed by the Chairman to be present for identification of the landowners and Payment to any other representative other than the concerned person will ‘NOT’ be entertained.

 

Committee to undertake spot-verification-visit

Kohima, July 21 (MExN): Dr Chotisuh Sazo, MLA & Chairman of the Committee on estimates (2022-2023) has proposed to undertake an ‘on-the spot-verification-visit’ to Multi-Level Car Parking at Old Medical Directorate; Multi-Level Car Parking at Old NST; Waste Management Unit, Meriema; Recycling of Plastic & Solid Waste at 7th Mile, Chümoukedima; and Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre (NBRC), 6th Mile, Sovima (f) Multi-Utility Centre, 6th Mile, Sovima with the Department of Municipal Affairs, Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency & Nagaland Bee-Keeping & Honey Mission on July 28 and 29 respectively. All Members of the Committee have been requested to make it convenient to join the visit as scheduled.

 

INDEF (NER) mid-term meeting in Kohima

Kohima, July 21 (MExN): Nagaland’s chief minister Neiphiu Rio will grace the Indian Engineers’ Federation (INDEF) North Eastern Region on July 22 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. With Federation of Nagaland State Engineering Service Associations (FONSESA) as host, the inaugural session will start from 10:00 AM onwards. FONSESA President, Er K Hutoi Sema will take time for welcome address while key note address will be delivered by INDEF (NER) President, Er Pura Tupe. The meet will continue will July 23.

 

NSCN-K (Niki Group) terminates two

Dimapur, July 21 (MExN): The NSCN-K (Niki Group) has terminated K Tsyuyihba, Under Secretary “from active national service for his repeated involvement in anti-national and anti-social activities accountable to be terminated as per the Ahza of the Government.” A press release by MIP, NSCN-K (Niki Group) stated that termination order issued from the office of the Central Secretariat informs individuals, organisations or business associations to desist dealing with him for any matter pertaining to the government. “The government shall bear no responsibility for any activity that he may undertake on behalf of the government after issue of the termination order,” it stated. The NSCN-K (Niki Group) has also terminated Vikiho, Tatar for “misusing an appropriated amount of Government fund and for tarnishing the good image of the NSCN/GPRN.” An order issued from Ato Kilonser's office informed that the order comes into immediate effect.
