
OPD+ in Zunheboto, Longleng
Zunheboto, March 24 (MExN): The Zunheboto Town Council (ZTC) has taken a decision to declare its area as open defecation free plus (ODF+). In this respects, ZTC Administrator Moakumzuk Tzudir has informed that individuals/groups are given 15 days to submit claims or objections if any. In Longleng, the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) Longleng Town Council has declared all area falling under its jurisdiction as OPD+. Therefore, ADC & Administrator, LTC D Robin, NCS has requested for claims and objection if any to be raised within 15 days from the publication of this notice.
Kohima consumers reminded on outstanding electrical bills
Kohima, March 24 (MExN): Executive Engineer, Electrical Division, Kohima, Er Rukongutuo Suohu in a press release reminded the consumers again to clear their outstanding electricity bills to avoid inconvenience. The release stated that consequent upon notice for disconnection of defaulting electricity consumers under Kohima Electrical Division and subsequent information in the print media on 16.12.2021, it reiterated that the disconnection drive for both Government and Private consumers is being undertaking in full swing. It also stated that for any clarification regarding bills, one may visit the office of the respective Sub-Divisional Officer.

Peren, March 24 (MExN): In the greater interest of public safety and to facilitate smooth and timely completion of two lane construction works along the NH129 A which is presently underway, there will be total restrictions on vehicular movement from Peren to Dimapur road in the stretch between Peletkie junction and Old Jalukie from 6 pm to 6 am daily for a period of one month with effect from March 25. All the commuters have been advised to take alternate route from Peren Town (Bana ward) to Old Jalukie via Mbungkitia (old road) and vice versa during the time and days of restrictions.
