The graduation and commissioning of 52 students of Baptist Theological College, Pfutsero took place in a ceremony held at Pfutsero Town Baptist Church (PTBC) on March 18. The diplomas in Bachelor of Divinity (BD) and Certificates in Church Music (CCM) were handed by Vevo Sapu, Chairperson, BoG, BTC. The graduates were commissioned by Rev Dr N Chiero, Sr Pastor, PTBC. Rev Dr Vevo Phesao, Vice President of CBCC and Sr Pastor of Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers' Hill, Kohima, graced the occasion as the speaker.
The Badminton Club of St Joseph’s College (A), Jakhama organized its 3rd annual open/department badminton tournament at the College Indoor Stadium from March 15 to 17. Altogether 53 teams participated in all the five categories and the winners were as follows: Men’s Singles: YanglibaSangtam; Men’s Doubles: Vimezo Natso and Thotreiwor Shangshang; Women’s Singles: Imnuksungla; Women’s Doubles: Vini I Yepthomi and Lituna T Sukhai; Mixed Doubles: Yangliba Sangtam and Neivikono Seyietsu.
