Nagaland: NPYF demands action against SOP lapses in State

DIMAPUR, JUNE 3 (MExN): The National People’s Youth Front (NPYF), Nagaland has written to the Nagaland Chief Minister seeking immediate action with regard to lapses in COVID-19 SOP in the State.

It referred to the incident where positive returnees were sent to Tuensang without ascertaining their test results.

The NPYF demanded immediate disciplinary action. It further questioned “how such a lapse in judgment could occur especially since a ‘war room’ was set up for the battle against COVID-19.” “What measures and procedures will be put into place so as to avoid such incidents again?” it asked.

It further asked the State Government that BSL 3 laboratories be established and completed as soon as possible in all four eastern districts of Mon, Tuensang, Longleng and Kiphire.
