The 37th BN BSF Chedema organized a series of civic action programmes in Chedema village, Chedema Model Village and Keyakie, Kohima on March 7. During the same, Pubali Sonowal, president BWWA of M&C frontier (Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland & Cachar Assam) in the presence of Vinod Kumar, commandant of 37 Battalion BSF Chedema inaugurated the kitchen block at Malo-o Cultural Hall Chedema village as well as the school building of Civil School in Keyakie. Sports items were also distributed to the youths of the locals while the battalion commandant further assured that BSF Chedema would be organising similar programmes and reach out to assist and help the locals in every way possible.
The installation programme of the NDPP 35-Zunheboto A/c for the tenure 2021-2024 was held at Zunheboto Town on March 7, with the conduct of the pledge Khehoshe H Yeptho President NDPP Zunheboto Region in the presence of K T Sukhalu, Advisor 35- Zunheboto A/C. Aketo Yeptho the chairman of the ZACLF (SBAK AIZUTO) dedicated and blessed the new team of office bearers. The meeting unanimously resolved to reposes faith and confidence in the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Chingwang Konyak, the state President of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP).
The Health and Family Welfare Department Wokha organised a Reproductive Child Health (RCH) camp at Nyiro Primary Health Centre Wokha on March 12. The medical team led by Dr Zuben Kikon, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Wokha screened more than hundred beneficiaries and services such as Red Blood Sugar test, Blood Pressure, sterilization, family planning counselling, health check up and distribution of free medicines were carried out at the one day health camp.
