Dimapur, March 16 (MExN): Additional Secretary of Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) and Returning Officer Khruohituonuo Rio has informed that not a single nomination has been filed for the biennial election to the Council of States as on Wednesday.
The election to the lone Rajya Sabha seat for Nagaland is scheduled for March 31 and the last date of nominations is March 21. This will be followed by scrutiny on March 22 and the last date for withdrawal of candidatures on March 24 (before 3:00 pm).
